im-perfection

Had SLC closure on Friday night. The different SLC groups (Hongkong, Australia, Taiwan) and Philippines trip did some sharing that night. After which, we went to Ms Faith's house to play games. It was really fun that night, had fun playing games and laughing with the Taiwan people. :) I'm thankful for the trip. :)  My SLC group - Attendance: 5/6 The intern people that came after the sharing!  The people that attended the talk with Mr Dy and Ms Faith! Took a good break this weekend before working on the next few assignments :) Went out with Nic on Saturday to catch a movie. YAY UFS (Understanding Financial Statement) is over! :)  Huiwen has official graduated from her certificate in business yayayay! :)  4 modules pass really fast, and to be honest ah, I can't really remember what I learn liao. I guess I only paid attention in this module? The rest was probably playing games and doing other stuff.  Here's a photo of my groupmates! Thankfully we managed to finish the assignment despite starting only a day before. Good job girls, at least it's over.  And also a photo with the lecturer.  She's actually quite dramatic and funny when she talks. The kind of lecturer whom you will like her more after many interactions :)  Thank you teacher, and also my friends! :) 

回娘家咯! So yesterday was Xinmin's 70th Gala Dinner (建校七十周年千人宴) and so much feel to be back again. Was supposed to meet at 6pm, then it postponed to 6.15pm and everyone was still late.  Before the start of the dinner, we went to visit the aesthetic hub, which we contributed our four years of homecoming money to. It looks pretty much like Ngee Ann's convention centre with movable seats, just that it's a little small in comparison to NP's.  PJ suggested to take class photo, which explains why our hands are on our laps and we are sitting up straight.  We look another one standing up :) Attendance: 10/15 I guess it's not that bad because we still can form one table :D Saw Mr Lee at the foyer and fishes started testing him on our names again. Been 5 years since he taught us, and at least he can remember 50% of our names la. He really blends well into this photo and he seems to have couple tee with Aderic.  Our table was nearest ...

Attended the MHA SAFE Programme Award Ceremony on behalf of my team yesterday.  This was the board game we came up with to help traffic police to reinforce road safety rules.  It was quite nerve wreaking because the results was only released on the day itself.  so..... WE GOT A SILVER. :D This really came as a surprise because little did I know that we will get this. I'm quite thankful that the 3 of them asked me along for this project. This is definitely a beautiful memory in Ngee Ann :)  So here's the trophy for the school :)  And me with my medal and certificate :)  Had lunch at fArt tArtz, a cafe in Expo itself. So I ordered teriyaki chicken flatbread. I didn't know there was another slice of bread below, so I ate everything separately. Overall, the food was pretty good :) I'm thankful to be part of this :)

At the end of the day, only you have the control to your own life. One week back, saw the new design of the journal from Paper Stone and it looks pretty good with all the motivation quote. Spent quite a long time before deciding that I won't get the book because I just started a new one. Instead, I went to find motivation quotes for my current book. Came across some quotes that are quite applicable to me now? "If you want to achieve greatness, stop asking for permission." "If you are not willing to risk the usual, you will have to settle for the ordinary." These two quotes shall stay with me for the month of November. Sometimes, when the nonsense repeats too much, you explode. Tiring yet hilarious how things are becoming. Oh well.

Just a quick update on my life.  It's Thursday and the third week of school is coming to an end. School life is definitely more boring compared to holiday. It's like wake up at 8 plus, prepare and eat breakfast, go school, go home, eat and bathe, and sleep. Then it repeats all over again. I'm kind of thankful for this timetable because I get to sleep in now. :)  Maybe once or twice a week, I will go out :)  Boyfriend is getting busy in school so I get to go out with him about once every week or every two weeks? But sometimes I get to meet him more :)  Watched 我们的少女时代 (Our Times), and yup I love it too :) School been pretty good too? I get to anger and annoy yan yan hehe. I love you as much too :D  Tried Red Star dimsum last Thursday before going to school. More variety compared to swee chong, more expensive too. Their liu sha bao is good hehe.  Met up with the comm member last Sunday. :) Felt really happy to meet them again. Catch up with each other's life,...
