im-perfection

It's Sunday again!  I was busy with clay for the past week. You can see some of my work at the end of this post :) I honestly didn't know it was so hard to do something out of clay, but I guess I got used to it by the end of the week :)  Taaadaaa, these are the jumping clay I got from Art Friend.  Only had two days of attachment this week, but it was quite busy helping out here and there.  Tutorial on Wednesday was okay. Then had llao llao with the woman :) We decided to try cookie sauce, but we still prefer white chocolate sauce :)  Thursday was a public holiday, and haze was pretty bad too.  Spent the morning with family before meeting chanel to head to the West.  Both of us with our mask. :)   Attended ECDA Conference on Friday and Saturday. Basically, it's a yearly event where all the different professors. researchers, principals, and teachers get to learn new things from the various concurrent worksh...

It was only when I looked at my own instagram then I realised this week passed so quickly. One eventful thing was to make ice cream and granola yoghurt with Val on Monday!  Another one was a date out with my idol/girlfriend. :)  Cheese cake bingsu in the morning. Not really nice, so nope, we won't try again next time!  Then we had ajisen for late lunch! :)  Followed by Maze Runner!  The movie was really good, even better than the previous one!!  I think we can watch another movie together next time again hehe.  And snacks before we head home! :)  Thanks for the wonderful date!! I'm glad that I spent quality time with you hehe.  Last but not least, date with the boyfriend too! :)  Watched transporter and it was a pretty good movie too!! :) 4 movies in just these two weeks, but well at least my to-watch list is cleared! :)  Feels like I'm into Korean food recently :D  And I feel that yan is the one who influenced me to love Korea...

This long weekend was pretty good :D spent time catching up with different people and my family! :)  So Friday was election day. Met Gillian at Xinmin coffee shop to eat ke kou mian. We had to da bao cause the coffee shop was filled with people. The people probably voted in xinmin then came out for breakfast.  So Gillian came my house to do her work :) I did a little of my work and ended up nua-ing again. So suddenly Gillian suggested to go hougang mall to eat llao llao. We jio nut, and he really came down! Super on! 一通电话人就到   Us with our llao llao :D  Met Nic on Saturday afternoon. Had Korean food at Tekka Market. Kim Chi Noodle and Beef Soup :D  We went to watch the Man from UNCLE! It was a pretty good comedy and action movie :D  Then met Shihui for breakfast on Sunday morning :)  After she left, went to the library to borrow some books. I guess it's good to do something that I used to enjoy :) wanted to borrow the five people you meet in heaven, but...

Week 4 is over, which means half of the attachment is over.  Originally, I thought 8 weeks would be long. I was wrong. Things pass faster than I ever imagined. I really enjoy my attachment this semester. I was lucky enough to be posted to quite a good centre. On top of that, I managed to bond with the children and the teachers. In fact, I think we bonded quite well and this is going to be the reason why I'm going to miss this centre when attachment ended. Today was really a great day! Cute cute boy wanted me to carry him to the dining area in the morning :) Then I went over to infant side, the babies didn't cry when I carried them. They are just so adorable :) I think I really love children, and it's important if I'm going to stay in this field.  4 more weeks to go, I'll make full use of my time there :) 

Met up with Sab on Friday at strictly pancakes! :)  Garlic Butter Prawn and Red Velvet Pancake. I think the garlic prawn one was good. The red velvet was even better. The cream cheese and ice cream make the pancake good :D hehe  The last time I met her was before Taiwan trip, which is about 3 months ago. Definitely a good catch up and sharing of some information hehe.  Impromptu meet up with the boyfriend after that. :)  On Saturday, packed the room with sis. My room is finally clean now. There are no books or files lying on the floor. The table is so so much neater.  How did I managed to live with all these dust. Gosh.  Then I went for a jog in the evening because sis and I were supposed to go gym, but we didn't. I was all ready for gym, so a jog is good enough to compensate.  Met yan yan today. hehe hope you enjoyed my presence :D it was a good doing work and talking session heheh. :D

Celebrated the first Teacher's Day even though I'm not an official one yet! :)  The first gift came on Tuesday when the parents bought every teacher one pack of green tea kit kat. I was quite surprised that we have one pack too because we were just attachment students and most parents didn't know us.  Then had my first field supervision yesterday (thursday). After our post conference with the field supervisor, she suddenly took out 4 packs of stickers and got us to choose one each because it was teacher's day!  Yesterday was a really eat fat day. When I enter the centre, the chinese teacher pass me one merci chocolate for teacher's day. We had a late lunch because we stayed in the office to talk to our mentor. When we came back from lunch, we had lots of treats. Partly some are for teacher's day and some are birthday celebration.  Treat #1: Mini twelve cupcake from one K1 child's parent.  Treat #2: Curry puff from old chang ...

This weekend was good :) had lunch at Marche on Saturday with mum, aunt and cousins. They haven't been there before so we just brought them there to try :)  My favorite is still rosti and crepe :)  Was supposed to go for Kpopx fitness but it was cancelled. Turned out that there was some miscommunication so we only had one lesson :( but at least I went for the first :)  On Sunday, met Nic for dinner :) Impromptu decision but was a good date :)  He had a free cotton candy topping coupon so I ordered a plain ice cream with the free topping. When I first got it, I ate the cotton candy separately. Then it felt weird so I mix it with the ice cream. AND WOW IT'S A GOOD COMBINATION. The cotton candy will become crispy and it's just really nice!! :)  Then we went for kbbq at Kim Korean! :) bacon craving satisfied hehe. This place was quite good because they have quite a large variety of food and I love their ginseng chicken soup!! But I kind of still prefer the bacons at...
