2013

2013. A year filled with mixed feelings. I learnt to be braver, tried many new things, and stepped out of my comfort zone. 

2013 didn't started off very well but yeah it ended well :) 

At the start of the year, had to make the decision between JC or poly after results. Actually I guess I didn't have much of a choice uh :/ but really thankful that I chose poly, because I realised I done much more things with that choice. 

I had a longer break before school start so I stayed in Malaysia for another 3 weeks on top of the one week during CNY. :) during that stay in Malaysia, I would say I enjoyed and rested a lot which made me super happy. Because the pace of life in Malaysia and sg is really different. And also because, at there, I didn't had to worry about anything. 吃得饱 睡得好. Aunt just brought me around everywhere that she can including Thailand :) Malaysia trip was good :) I wonder when's the next time I can actually go back so long again :/ 

Poly started when I came back to sg :) I forgot to mention that I rushed back to sg cause there was some urgent administrative matters that got me worry so so much. I didn't want to have no sch to go :/ 

First group of people I met in poly was OG :) all girls. To be honest, I was shocked la. For the past 10 years, I was in a mixed school, and when I came to poly, it seems like I've entered a girls school instead. Didn't really get used to it at first but slowly, I came to realise that having all girls are pretty good :) orientation was rather meaningful because we went out to do service for others. I mean I'm in HMS. Humanity. So a lot of service to others :) 

Met classmates T05 on the last day of orientation. It was scary, to enter a course with no one that you know, esp for awkward people like me. I usually don't talk to people when I first meet them. But 05 turn out to be really good class because there were no major issue with the class :)

had SLUTS with me :) really thankful to these girls because they played quite a big part of my poly life. Be it just having meals tgt or doing assignments before. Thank you for accepting me and also for helping me so so much <3 really appreciated it. 

Decided to go for NPYA self discovery camp alone but it turned out that I made nice friends in that camp. A very special and unique camp for me. Because I learn a lot about others, and also, the need for me to deeply understand others for they have their darkest side that they choose to hide. 

NDP was the first voluntary event I had with heartware. To be honest, I joined just because my friends went. But yes, I really like it a lot. Was kinda disappointed that I wasn't in platform but it's okay, NDC was good. Really good. More bonding time with the rest :) and that's when I had nice leaders like Chanel and willy :) and not to forget the rest of the NDC3 people that I know :) thank you for being such nice people, being part of my 2013 :) 

After NDP, decided to try for SYA since there was a two months holiday :) through SYA, I learn a lot. About working with people and the function of excel, and also the way an event is planned. Even though it was a short event, it did made a change in my life :) 

Not long after SYA ended, it was interview for comm members and thankfully I got in too :) the comm members are good and nice people too, after working them in dec :) hoping that the year ahead will be good with them :) many things I still hve to learn for my minutes, but I won't give up :) will give my best :) 

Also, attended the first ever church wedding in my life and yes it's so so cool :)) hehe

Met up with Sonia and Naomi separately also because we couldn't find the same timing but yes, I love these two girls. And hopefully we will have an outing soon :) stay happy :) 

In the last 2 weeks of 2013, 大姨 family, 外婆 and ting came to sg, partly cause of relative wedding :) it was fun with them around, because every day seems so 热闹, not the quiet and boring normal days. It was pretty busy for me when they were in sg due to camps and many other stuff, but glad that I spent quite a lot of my time with them because I was really happy :) 

On the last day of 2013, it was the yearly countdown and Christmas exchange with Fishes. It was nice to see them again, to come tgt, to have steamboat, to do our things tgt :) to be honest, they are a really special group of friends to me. Ever since sec 1. Yes, I do wish that this will continue every year :)

Resolutions for the year will not be posted on my blog, because idk why either hehe. :P bleh.

well.. yesterday was the last day of school. no one expected it to come so fast. and definitely, no one wants to leave 02! two years of bonding has brought us together, it has broke the wall inside many of us, and everyone got closer. i myself, doesnt want to leave 02! for there is many many awesome people. the one that we share secrets with, the one that were there for us when we were down, and even the one that we spend the most time with. everyone is going to be in different class. for some lucky people, they will have people that they know to be in the same class as them. despite different, i know our bond will still be there. and that nothing can replace 202. everyone split to get better prepared in life for their future. i just hope all the best for everyone in 02 and do their very best next year, despite whatever stream :D ytd was a unlucky day! most of us were down with sore throats. and i was one of them. and worse come to the worse, my condition worsen at night. and my specs ...

today was an awesome day! :) bbq with 306, the first class outing, although there were some who cant make it. dont worry there will always be another time :) meet gillian, geraldine and regine at 3 to go ntuc to buy all the other stuffs. claire huixin tosy julia zaiqin evelyn all came to meet us cause they were at pepper lunch :) and we just took everything we wanted and dump into the trolley, fun shopping (Y) went to the cashier and make payment and the total cost was like $53.95. i didnt expect it to be so much hahaha but luckily i got enough money if not very.... we took exactly 30 min and we reached the interchange. weisheng and seetha was there, so we waited for timothy :) bbq house called and i told him we will be there at 4.30 so some of us took the earlier bus. reached there, collect the super heavy food and we played some games! :) started the fire at 5.30pm and everyone get ready the stuff at 6 :) some stayed at the pit some went cycling and some went to save a kitten. time p...

Another new chapter begins.

15 August 2016, the day I lost something that was important to me at that point of time. To be very honest, even though an end to a relationship was common and I told people that we can't be 100% confirm that he will be the one because shit just happens sometimes, I didn't expect shit to happen to me. I really thought I found the partner whom I'm going to spend my life with. This may sound naive, clinche, funny or contradicting, but I really thought that way.  Definitely, I was heartbroken. I was upset. I cried. I talked to myself. Keep telling myself that if it's not meant to be it, then so be it. Keep telling myself that ending everything now is better than ending it in the future when there are more responsibilities. I'm glad that my mind was clear, positive and logical, even though my heart wasn't too well.  I'm thankful to all the people who has comforted me. I know that I still have many family and friends who love me alot. My kids were my happy pills ...
