Jurong bird park!

As the title suggests, I went to explore Jurong Bird Park with my family on Sunday! :) Why not since there's free tickets and I haven't been there before :D

So we took a photo at the entrance :D Thankful for fish eye cause it can take more things in a photo.

The first stop was penguin! :)

Then we went to watch bird show! It was really cool!! I love the singing parrots! They can sing 客人来, rasa saya, and happy birthday! Then the different birds did a final finale by "cat-walking".

Horn-bill parrot! The person said female have red eyes and their colours are not as bright as the males.

Then the ostriches! They kept hiding their head.

Followed by the parrots.

Omg this is one of the singing parrots but still not as well trained. He's good though! I spent quite some time playing with it, and making sure that he was really talking.

We walked to the ostrich pond with the white ostriches!

They have this exhibition on breeding. So eggs are placed in incubators. Then they are kept in nursery separately once they are hatched. 3-4 months later, they will be put together with other younger birds. Lastly, at 7-8 months, they can go to the wild.

The journey ended at the pink ostriches!

A last photo before we left! :)

Went to Clarke Quay after Jurong Bird Park cause dad need to repair his iPhone. By then I was so tired that I just sat on the escalator.
And I napped for two hours once I reached home.

A good Sunday! :)
