Extremely memorable/cui day

Today was a memorable day. 

Before I start talking about it, let me give you some background information. Basically, my group and I took part in this competition called SAFE. It is organised by MHA to tackle different problems. Our group came up with a board game to help traffic police to enforce traffic safety rules.

We got through the first round and so today was our presentation at MHA Headquarters.

I met chiling and yan at the MRT station before heading there together. Little did I expect that it was raining heavily in Novena and we only had one umbrella with us. We tried to walk under the shelter towards the headquarters but it seems like we couldn't cross over. So we flagged a taxi to bring us to the building that was opposite us. The best thing was MHA headquarters was so strict to the extent that no external vehicle is able to enter. So I (or we) panic and just got off at some shelter place. The taxi uncle was quite angry with us, but I think he could have been a little more polite. It's our first time, and we don't know the way too.

So we dropped off and met this lady. We asked for help from the lady but she sounded like she was in a bad mood too. The gate where we stopped at is only for people working there. Another problem came, there were no shelter to the guard house. In the end, I sheltered chiling with the umbrella to the guard house and walked back to find yan to shelter her to the guard house. We were drenched, but thankfully we got our visitor pass.

The next thing we knew was that we were supposed to reach the place at 3 instead of 3.15pm, so we immediately asked for directions and head to the place. The guard was nice to offer us an umbrella. We walked across some open space and got to the building safely. The lift was damn cool because they didn't have any number buttons inside. You have to press the level outside before you get in the lift.

Upon arrival, the man was really comforting to tell us that it is okay, and it is more important to get there safely. So we went in to set up the stuff and yup, jacey came in time and we all presented. :) I felt quite relieved after the whole presentation :)

After the presentation, we decided to treat ourselves to milkcow :D Yummy yummy. I love how milky the ice cream taste!!



Today was really a memorable day (extremely cui situation) and I'm glad that we have come these far! :) Thank you girls for pulling me into this competition and I really had fun doing this! :) Xie xie ni men for making the product a success!! <3 :="" be="" good="" may="" nbsp="" p="" results="" the="">

today was an awesome day! :) bbq with 306, the first class outing, although there were some who cant make it. dont worry there will always be another time :) meet gillian, geraldine and regine at 3 to go ntuc to buy all the other stuffs. claire huixin tosy julia zaiqin evelyn all came to meet us cause they were at pepper lunch :) and we just took everything we wanted and dump into the trolley, fun shopping (Y) went to the cashier and make payment and the total cost was like $53.95. i didnt expect it to be so much hahaha but luckily i got enough money if not very.... we took exactly 30 min and we reached the interchange. weisheng and seetha was there, so we waited for timothy :) bbq house called and i told him we will be there at 4.30 so some of us took the earlier bus. reached there, collect the super heavy food and we played some games! :) started the fire at 5.30pm and everyone get ready the stuff at 6 :) some stayed at the pit some went cycling and some went to save a kitten. time p...

Another new chapter begins.

15 August 2016, the day I lost something that was important to me at that point of time. To be very honest, even though an end to a relationship was common and I told people that we can't be 100% confirm that he will be the one because shit just happens sometimes, I didn't expect shit to happen to me. I really thought I found the partner whom I'm going to spend my life with. This may sound naive, clinche, funny or contradicting, but I really thought that way.  Definitely, I was heartbroken. I was upset. I cried. I talked to myself. Keep telling myself that if it's not meant to be it, then so be it. Keep telling myself that ending everything now is better than ending it in the future when there are more responsibilities. I'm glad that my mind was clear, positive and logical, even though my heart wasn't too well.  I'm thankful to all the people who has comforted me.
