Safari Boo
The first week of school is over :)
School was pretty good, and I like the current timetable. Spent the weekend volunteering at River Safari for Safari Boo.
On Saturday, I helped out at this booth called 'Smell your way home' where we will introduce how some animals navigate their way. The specimens on display were all real, and I like the baby otter most. It feels so soft and fury.
Kids being kids, they were innocent and funny.
Kid: "Why did the animal die? Did you kill it?"
Me: "No, I didn't."
Kid: "If you kill it, I will call the police to catch you."
That particular child was really funny.
So here's a picture of my volunteer buddies and I at our booth :)
On Sunday night, yan and I were deployed to the craft booth. It was pretty interesting there as children decorate their own craft and win themselves some treats. I think the best thing that night was to talk to the people mending the booth. Originally thought they were pretty fierce, but they turned out to be pretty nice :)
Other than helping out at the craft booth, we went to facilitate the queue for the falabella photoshoot too. I was quite scared of that pony because it was quite aggressive/active compared the grey one. Nevertheless, managed to take a photo with it hehe.
Pretty good experience this time, better than I expected. :)
On a side note, RWS should call me soon. :(
